After reading an article in National Geographic about Cabo Pulmo, the only coral reef in the North Pacific, I decided to visit Baja California Sur. What I discovered surpassed every expectation I could have devised of the place: the extraordinary marine life of the magical waters of the Sea of Cortez, the wild charm of the desert, the small community and visitors in the area, the warm breath of its sunsets… all these such unique aspects made me fall in love with the place. I began to dream of a small space for a few guests, perfectly integrated into the wild nature. A home built entirely with local natural materials, with a unique design fusing a Mediterranean style with an agronomic style, immersed in the magical atmosphere of this remarkable place where the tropical desert of Cabo meets the Sea of Cortez. Create spacious and bright spaces imbued with the charm of applying natural materials, typical pottery, and beautiful upholstery, a combination of basic geometry for a unique aesthetic and sensory impact.

The process began with searching for suitable land to build and unfold the same philosophy in a single project that combines architecture, well-being, a healthy lifestyle, and gastronomy. After having visited more than 15 different places during a second trip to Baja, we found the ideal space to make The White Lodge a reality; another love at first sight: its elevation above the sea, its beautiful view of the crystal clear waters of the Sea of Cortez, the exclusivity of its beach, the unspoiled environment, its proximity to the best place to surf in the entire Gulf of California.

The purpose of integrating these white handmade bungalows with natural materials into the original landscape is to offer a unique experience in close contact with nature that has minimal environmental impact.
